Philip Badal (b.1953) is an artist currently based in San Diego, California.
Philip started out with design school origins in Tehran, Iran. He moved to Brooklyn in 1979 to continue his studies in Communication Design at Pratt Institute's MFA program. After making a name for himself in NYC as an art director at numerous agencies for 18 years, he and his family eventually relocated to Southern California. With this transition, he began to broaden his creative skills into the third dimension. He sought to combine his keen sense of clean lines and space with this new found pacific light. Philip's longstanding interest in furniture and industrial design led him to build a new body of functional sculptural work.
